Once again, the Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards honoured the hard work, innovation and creativity of forecourt retailers nationwide at a glamorous awards evening held on Thursday 12 September 2019.
A wonderful night was had by all who attended as many of the biggest operators in the UK petrol retailing industry gathered at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London, for the Grand Prix-themed high-octane event.
This year’s host, former World Cup-winning rugby player and TV celebrity Matt Dawson, presented the awards, which covered nearly 30 specialist and regional categories, and included awards for Special Recognition, Oil Company Initiative, as well as the overall winner of Forecourt Trader of the Year.
There was plenty of entertainment and fun throughout the evening, with highlights including British comedy troupe ‘The Noise Next Door’; cocktail bar, live band ‘Happy Hour’, Scalextric, Grand Prix-themed photo booth, casino and dance floor. A great time was had by all as guests took advantage of the great opportunity to network and party into the early hours. A truly great occasion for all those involved in the UK petrol retailing industry.
