Category Criteria: Judges will be looking for a display that adheres to the strict disciplines of selling chilled products, coupled with good merchandising practice.
![]() | The chilled display should be located in an area of high customer flow, visible from both the entrance door and the till. It should be eye-catching, a well-maintained, and stock a balanced range of products, with adequate facings for best-selling lines. |
![]() | Product displays should be arranged by category - eg sandwiches should be grouped together - and all products should be clearly priced. Cross merchandising should be used where possible - such as soft drinks near to the chilled food section. |
![]() | Displays should reflect any relevant TV advertising campaigns and other promotional activity, together with point-of-sale material. |
