Mace Retailer Champion of the Year 2011
David Charman of Parkfoot Garage was named the Mace Retailer Champion of the Year 2011. The award was set up in conjunction with Principal sponsor Palmer and Harvey to recognise the key industry players in the fuel-retailing sector. David was voted the winner by readers of Forecourt Trader.
David was the very first Forecourt Trader of the Year winner, when the awards were launched all the way back in 1996. He is a well-respected retailer, not just for his Parkfoot Garage business and his involvement in the Lakeside Group, but also because of his tireless efforts as founder and chairman of the Car Wash Association.
